April & John l Engaged Part II
I don't think I need to say anything other than I really love cupcakes.
Kind of a different pose for me, but I like it I think.
The light in this alley was perfect. I could have shot there all day :)
No John, we most definitely did NOT stick April's engagement ring in the cupcake..... ;) Thanks for a wonderful session you two. Can't wait for May 16!

April & John l Engaged Part I
What do you get when you mix pink cupcakes with a tough guy auto mechanic? A nervous woman praying that he doesn't try and punch me ;) Okay Okay I kid...but I'm sure he wasn't too thrilled. Oooooh the things you do for love. Anyway, that part is tomorrow. I had way too many beautiful photos to cram into one post so I'm spreading it out into a rare Friday post. I hope you decide to come back tomorrow for the Pretty Smitten Cupcake Toppers appearance. I have a feeling I'll be talking about that many more times. Sorry Charlie!
We drove to Crewe since April loved Mackenzie's photos so much and the light was soft and in combination with April's killer outfits I was in photo heaven. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
Isn't she gorgeous?!
This is kind of an unusual edit for me, but I kind of like it.
Again, stay tuned for Part II tomorrow :)
P.S. Congratulations to Amie for her incredibly picnik'd photo! Keep an eye on your mailbox for some goodies!

Shootsac l Personal
Investments are very fun sometimes. I've had my eye on Jessica Claire's Shootsac for about a year now...and yesterday, It became mine. I had several people ask me what one was, so here's a video to clear that up. And I'm sure you can expect some photos of my shootsac once it arrives from sunny CA.
Now I just need to decide on a cover....hmmm...I think mymoney is on Viceroy. Thanks so much to Jessica Claire for these images and of course for thinking of Shootsac. :)

Pretty Smitten l Etsy Tea Party
I am truly a girl all the way down to my toes. (I know..how nice of me to confirm that) I get so excited about all things printed, pressed and having anything to do with paper. I would always go straight to the notebook section in Target when I was younger and pick out the brightest and girliest notebook....(and write on two pages and then buy another). There's something about the written word that is just enchanting. OH and stationary with your NAME written on it? *swoon*
Now that I'm a bit older, I still have that same fascination, only a little more expensive. Thankfully, I have an Etsy friend who is there to satisfy my cravings with her charming products.
Meet....
In her own words, 'Sweet, modern and fun personalized paper goods'...I honestly don't think I could word that any better if I tried...which I did. Now maybe you're wondering....where does this all tie in with you? Well I'll tell you. As you may or may not recall, I love to incorporate wedding dates into engagement sessions. Makes them more personal and also encourages creative thinking which I could always use an extra spoon of. I had the idea to use cupcakes for a sweet engagement session this past weekend and used Pretty Smitten's cupcake toppers for their date. (Coming soon!)
Elizabeth (the brains of pretty smitten) and I are planning to team up and here is what I had to start with. Huge thanks to my mom for making this last minute kitchen tea party a success!
I was so impressed with her level of detail and customer satisfaction.
and the ADORABLE cupcake toppers. huge success
Now that you've seen, check out her Etsy shop for note cards, gift tags, cupcake toppers, personalized invitations and stickers.

Priscilla & Hunt l Engaged
Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing cold. I am such a baby when it comes to cold weather...and I need to invest in a pair of rain boots, big time. anyway, onto the photos and stop with my whining.
This is just one of those couples you are so glad they're together. They are so sweet around each other and I'm looking forward to their wedding in April :)
