Goodies in the Mail

What better way to end a not-so good day at work other than presents in the mail!

I've always loved getting mail...even when its bills. I love seeing my name in different typefaces on letters from around the country. I love it even more when something I ordered a LONG time ago arrives! Now I can continue my travels internationally:)

I love my Mommy

This past weekend was filled with quite the amount of festive events. My Weekends are becoming more and more packed but I feel like my life in regards to photography is finally getting started. Friday, some friends and I gathered at Lindsay's house for a girls night filled with Quesadillas, random television shows, brownies and...gossip, of course;) Lindsay's adorable puppy Maddie made the evening filled with laughter and personality. Meet Maddie!

When I came home, Kara had brought me one of my favorite flowers from work! She works in the Floral Department at Ukrops and was excited to show me her hand-picked Peony :)

Saturday marked Day 1 of Interning with Sam Stroud Photography. Cool personality, awesome photographer. I feel privileged to learn under his skills and sense of humor. He even let me do some shooting. I'll post some of them when I get my hands on them!

Sunday was a blast as well. Lots of pretty things to enter my lens, that's for sure. Mother's aren't supposed to lots of cooking and baking on their special day, so the sisters, boyfriend and I whipped up a luncheon fit for queens....queens who enjoy delectable pasta! We used pink tulips, white linens, pastel green napkins and black and white damask table runners...It turned out nicely and the food was super yummy!
