Morgan Jones l Senior

You know that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you know you've done something right? Or the feeling when you've made someone else feel like they've done something right?

well...regardless, thats how this session was for me. Morgan knew exactly how to handle herself in front of the camera and was comfortable and that's what made her beautiful. Better yet, her beauty on the outside just showed off what was hidden in her heart.

We had a great time in Virginia Beach...climbing rocks, figuring out new secret changing techniques and even getting some photos on a boat. all in all, a great session.

Andrea Jimenez l Senior

I have been blessed this year to have lots of Senior Photo inquiries. They are my favorite sessions so I have been nothing but grateful.

Andrea and I started early with a sunrise session in Carytown. We shot everywhere from beside Mcdonalds to the tip tops of parking decks and old nasty couches. After our Carytown adventure came to an end, we met up with her mom and pup, Molly, at the park for some family shots.

Room Re-Design

It's about time, right? this was my Labor Day weekend project and with the help of my best bud Kelly, we got it done in one day. (my back was not happy with me the next day..especially after 4 coats of paint on the ceiling)

I'm a loser and forgot to take a photo of 'before' with everything in my room...soo here's just an idea.

Hairbows

I love headbands of all shapes, styles and textures. I love mustard yellow and i certainly love Ica of Ica Images. She is the brains behind Rini & Faith and has her own Etsy Shop.

One of my very own arrived yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased with her work. It just makes me so happy!







I even got Kiwi to model for me. She's such a cutie.

Brainwashed!

so remember a few days ago when i tweeted 'i really would love to attend a workshop...LOVE!' you probably dont, but i did. well anyway, the infamous Lauren Clark of Lauren Clark Photography is hosting a Brainwash seminar on February 4 and she's offering a contest for  a FREE spot!

Next

There is something so gratifying about crossing something off of your to-do list. I'm one of those people who writes something down I've already done just to cross it off. loser? i think yes.

Come on, you know you do it too.



want to feel extremely accomplished? set a few very attainable goals for your week. map them out by monday through friday agendas, check them off as they are finished and watch your productivity level sky rocket.

it works for me! have a productive monday!

Compromise

kris: what is something I could tell you about myself that would immediately turn you off towards me?
nick: telling me you hate NASCAR and that its only guys going around in circles.












I realize this photo isn't amazing quality, but it represents a lot. winning lap.

i have learned the art of compromise and it's one i quite enjoy.

Domestic

I love to make things...unfortunately my talent only spreads as far as card making and the occasional dabble into furniture sprucin' up. 'Before and After' posts always make me smile and crafters showing off their newly created masterpiece inspires me and makes me appreciate the mind that goes further than the store shelf.

My lovely friend Sarah of a flower for you, which also happens to be nick's sister, is one of those people. She always has exciting posts about the joy of sewing and she loves what she does. I'm a sucker for home-made gifts and she thrives on the happiness of other people. It's no doubt she gets it from her mother.





She's the cutest thing ever.
One of my favorite places to take unique photos is at nicks' house--always new and exciting crafts to be made. These are all items used for a baby quilt.
