My home, living room

lo and behold, my living room.

This desk was used by my grandma in their kitchen and then passed on to me while I was in school.

The paint is original. These gloves were my friend Julie's husbands grandmothers. The drawer pulls are from anthropologie.

My couch was purchased from a thrift store in Petersburg, Virginia for $80.00.

This globe was my grandmothers, the suitcases were thrifted for $4 a piece, the lamp stand was thrifted for $3.50 and the shade was on clearance at Target for $7.50. The turquoise frame holds a signed polaroid from the Civil Wars show in Charlottesville.

My chair was purchased from a thrift store for $25 (are you seeing a theme here?) and I made the pillow out of fabric scraps. This scrap happened to be my dads wedding shirt. oops.

My mom reupholstered this footstool with scrap fabric for $1.50

These are antique hatboxes purchased for $4 a piece at a yardsale

Shabby Chic table was purchased from goodwill for $12, the lamp stand was thrifted for $3.50 and the shade was on clearance at Target for $7.50, the books were acquired at an estate sale and the record was given to me by an old friend. "K" cup was on clearance at anthropologie.
