I went to dinner tonight with an old friend from my BBC days. We lived across the hall from each other and it's literally been about 4ish years. Her grandparents live near me (10 minutes to be exact) and thanks to facebook, she realized that. Seems like all the cool people live in Texas. You know, I was in need of a chat tonight. It's funny how life can throw you a 'summer market on the side of 460 on the way to the beach' load of lemons and at the end of the day you're left with nothing but a fridge full of lemonade. At least that's how I choose to see it. She sweetly reminded me of Proverbs 3. Here, let me refresh your memory.

Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you;
bind them around your neck;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and good success.
in the sight of God and man.

I just wanted to encourage you of the hope we have in the Lord. His plan is sovereign. As in complete royal authority. There is such a peace knowing that I rest in the palm of His hand. He finds me beautiful and he delights in me. He uniquely designed me and will never leave me. If that doesn't make you feel special, I don't know what would. Believe me, I'm not always this glass half full. I was quite the downer earlier today...my family will attest. Thankfully my God is greater, my God is stronger and my God is higher than any other. Ahhh, joy.







I'm dreadfully sorry if you are now craving lemonade...
