Home Again Home Again

You know that sad feeling you get the day before vacation is over? You can hardly enjoy your last day because the thought of driving home seems to obnoxiously stay lodged in the back of your mind. We had a wonderful time in Indiana. Lots of yummy food, fun pictures and lots of laughs. That's what it's all about, right?

"So..." you ask..."how do you choose which pictures to post?" weeellll my friend, I simply choose 2(ish) favorites from each day...even though choosing 2 favorites in my eyes is kind of like finding a green earring you dropped in tall grass.

BAM for a good analogy.

Friday
the 12 hour drive up. I believe I photographed everything visible in the car. It surely felt like Virginia weather with all of the rain, no rain, rain, no rain, rain, no rain. My Ipod died a frightening 1 hour into the trip. Thank goodness I had dear Lola (my canon) to keep me company.

Saturday
We began the early day with cereal and yard-saling. Apparently we were all thrilled about the treasures we would find. Nick found an old race car and a black lamp for his apartment and I wound up with a vintage bubble gum machine, some old mason jars and a 1974 book on Great Britain. Thank you dear yardsales for making 7am seem so charming.

Oh...and these two adorable little girls. I asked if I could take a picture of their tattoos and the older one quickly corrected me and said...'it's finger paint'....I stand corrected :)

After putting away our new found goodies, we got ready for dinner at Barcelona's and then onto Indianapolis to see Sarah graduate.

Sunday

Nick's brother in law, Dustin, is the Creative Arts Pastor at Friendship in Greenwood, IN. We started off the day in the Lord's house simply praising His name. Great worship and sermon, awesome environment. The rest of the day consisted of singing along to Wee Sing in Sillyville , NASCAR and amazing breakfast for dinner. I do say breakfast for dinner on Sunday nights should become an American tradition.

Monday and Tuesday's photos are yet to be uploaded. I assure you they will come!

Let me leave you with this quote...well suited for Wednesdays.

"I've been on a diet for two weeks and all I've lost is two weeks"
