amy & micah l just a taste

This past weekend was overall a big bundle of yuck. I was unable to do a wedding on Saturday and my senior session for Sunday morning cancelled due to my raw sounding voice. smart lady.

HOWEVER.

I did manage to fight away the yuck for about 2 hours for my engagement session with Amy & Micah. These cuties were awesome to work with and I'm looking forward to showing you the rest!

I'm not much of a heels person. In fact, I own a red pair a brown pair and a black pair. You know, the basics. I pretty much live in flats because of my clumsy-ness. I don't care if that isn't a word.

When I saw these, I didn't care how much of a heels hater I am. I had to get them and i will find the perfect dress to go along with them. Shhh, don't tell my flats.





Oh, one other thing! Nick and I have decided on a wedding date. Big day!

This is pretty pathetic. I hate to admit this...but these were done back at the beginning of September and I've just now gotten around to blogging them.
To make it even worse, this is my youngest sister! She is so beautiful, isn't she? We went to Virginia Beach for the weekend to do her photos and had lots of fun. She was even willing to do a sunrise beach session. Her exact words when she woke up at 5am were...'this is a stupid idea'. I kind of agreed with her at that time.

Now, not so much!

You may remember her from her and Eric's couple session a few months ago. We've been friends for a loooooooong time. She wanted to give your mom some photos of her and her cool bro for Christmas. We drove up to Winston-Salem NC for a session near Ethan's school. Here's the faves!

I interrupt my regularly scheduled photos of random objects to bring you my new favorite photo. I am newly engaged to my nicholas and I can't wait to be his bride :) I'll post the story later in the week once I get a chance to properly edit all of the photos. I gotta do it right, yo!

I have never seen myself as a bride but now that this ring is shining back at me, this is all becoming so real. I'm excited, nervous and have no idea where to start! If any of you newly engaged and/or newlyweds have any advice, I would be more than grateful to listen! and yes, oncewed has been a saved bookmark since i knew how to blog.
